'I had just written this poem and it was constantly streaming through my head as I lay 'dead' for my part in the short film 'Don't Kick The Mule' that The Funpowder Plot were working on. When lunch time arrived I asked if I could quickly spit out a video on the set, to which everyone agreed. After we'd filled our bellies with soul food, the clock was pushing on, and we had just enough time for one take, which is the one camera capture that you see today. I'd have liked if we'd had a longer opportunity to make it better, but why waste time when you have something to say? ONE NEW MESSAGE.' - The Freewheelin Troubadour
